At Basic Apparel, we love 'hygge'. That cozy, comforting feeling. And there's nothing better to 'hygge' with than a big, soft knit to keep you warm. That’s why our knitwear collection is a category we put extra love and care into.

All of our knitwear is produced in Italy and Turkey, using RWS-certified wool and organic cotton. We work with two family-owned factories that we’ve had a close partnership with for over ten years, and which we visit regularly in person.

We offer a wide selection of luxuriously soft Merino wool knits. Merino wool is finer and softer than standard wool, and it’s also temperature-regulating - making it ideal for a cozy winter sweater.
