The entire Ludmilla collection is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. We’ve chosen an extra-fine cotton yarn that gives the fabric an exceptionally soft feel and a beautiful, colorfast finish. This means you get styles produced with care for both people and the planet – without compromising on comfort.

Our choice of GOTS-certified organic cotton stems from the many challenges associated with conventional cotton production. It’s often difficult to trace where and how the cotton has been grown and processed, and just as hard to gain insight into the social conditions under which it was produced. Conventional cotton is also one of the most heavily sprayed crops in the world, with serious consequences for local biodiversity and nearby water environments.

In contrast, GOTS-certified cotton is grown according to organic principles – with strict requirements for minimizing waste and emissions, regulating the use of chemicals and dyes, ensuring fabric durability, and upholding fair social conditions throughout the entire value chain.
